Happy Weekend!

We can't believe is the last long weekend of the summer, but we are not ready to say goodbye to warm weather (it's 30 degrees in Toronto today!), easy breezy dressing and outdoor entertainment. With a weekend packed with social activity we wanted to share our go to hostess gift, it's usually a coffee bag, a jar of chimichurri or some Dulce de Leche!  To make it pretty we usually wrap them in one of our teatowels.  Our friends are always so happy to get the little treat!  So if you are planning to visit friends this weekend we have lots of hostess gift ideas in-store.  Whatever you do we hope you have a lovely weekend!

Just wanted to share pics of one of my favorite places from our recent trip to NY. The new restaurant at ABC home&carpert ABC kitchen was everything you expect from them and more! aside from the perfect mix of rustic and modern elements the food was out of this world, it was a great treat at the end of an intense work day at the show, check out their website to read more about the philosophy behind their organic menu

I just loved the organic shape of the plates and bowls and every detail of our experience there!

New York here we come!

We are just getting ready for our  yearly New York buying trip, and of course what  to wear is always on the list,  you have  to look professional but summer comfort is of essence, I just found  this inspiration board from See&Said  which is exactly what I want to wear on this trip, I have most of the basics now I just have to pick-up the Heeley parfum while I'm there! any excuse for a Barneys stop, see you back here next week with a recap of our trip
