Our new favorite shop: Advice from a Caterpillar

On Saturday Joaquin and I had a date with his favorite aunt Maria and we discovered the most amazing kids shop, ADVICE FROM A CATERPILLAR on Price Street in Rosedale, we had so much fun we didn't want to leave! the service was amazing, aside from the beautiful product (we want to buy everything!) Sisters Emily & Elizabeth Dyer who own the shop are lovely and made us feel so welcomed, there is a banquette in the back were you can lounge with your baby and have espresso, those girls thought of everything! there is a great changing table in the super luxurious bathroom, we can't wait to go back, oh and Joaquin loves his new toy =)

Toronto textile designer Allison Lovell has developed a beautiful line of home accessories that we are so happy to have just received in store!

Using colour, form and function as her defining design principles, she incorporates playful, clean and natural prints into everyday household items.

Work & Leisure

Is that time of the year again when we do our travels searching for new products for the store, this is one of the reasons why we love what we do! We just got back from the New York gift show and this time was extra special because we got to bring our son Joaquin (his first trip!) thanks to the wonderful help from my parents who came along to take care of him while we were at the show, we were able to have a really productive show and enjoy some amazing family time, I can't wait to post about the wonderful products we found, looking forward to the new season!
