Yerba Mate is an ancient drink of health and friendship, and the culture which has evolved around gathering to enjoy the tea is a wonderful and integral part of South American life. Friends and family gather in homes, on street corners, and share pot of mate, drank via metal straws called bombillas, among many other ritualistic customs.
